Description
We invite you to embark on an exciting creative adventure filled with inspiration and romance, set amidst picturesque rolling hills with stunning views of vineyards and forests. You’ll be introduced to the history, traditions and philosophy of ceramics, guided tour of the grounds and conclude with a romantic candlelit dinner in the workshop. This unforgettable tour promises to leave you with vivid memories and a new appreciation of art.
Programme
Your event will begin with a welcome glass of sparkling wine in the shade of a huge fluffy mimosa, accompanied by an introduction to the Master himself. Then you will move into a cosy workshop filled with the aroma of clay and an atmosphere of creative inspiration, where Carles will share with you the secrets of pottery. You will learn about the special properties of clay and how to feel it, and the Master will tell you the techniques you can use to create your own unique ceramic piece. There will be a short break in the middle of the class, during which you can enjoy a glass of wine and small snacks, discuss your impressions and share creative ideas.
Overview
The workshop is located on the edge of a small village in the Penedès wine region. From the window of his pottery there is a magnificent view of the vineyards and hills of Catalonia. The whole atmosphere of his home is imbued with peace, tranquillity and creative energy.
It is here, in his workshop, that the master invites you for a beautiful and romantic date with the opportunity to create your own masterpiece on a real potter’s wheel.
Duration: 2-3 hours. The workshop is located 70 kilometres from Barcelona, the trip by comfortable car will take approximately 1 hour.
